How Much Will My Wedding Cake Cost?
We offer a wide range of options for all styles options and budgets . Our prices are based on number of servings and complexity of design. Our wedding cakes start at $10.00 per slice for buttercream finish and $12.00 per slice for fondant finish.
Can We Come In For A Tasting?
Yes! We offer a private tasting and consultation at our bakery in Petaluma. We will listen carefully to your ideas, and talk you through all the possibilities for your wedding cake. There is a fee of $50.00 for up to 4 people and $20 per additional person, to be paid in advance. This fee will be credited toward your order of $300 or more. Where Is Your Store?
We do not have a retail storefront; we operate from a commercially licensed kitchen in Petaluma. Where we make our masterpieces and host our tastings.
May I Supply Design Ideas And Inspirations?
Of course! We love to see photos of your design ideas and inspirations but out of respect for those designer we will not exactly replicate those designs.
When Do We Need To Book Our Date?
Our calendar fills up fast. In general, you should plan to book your wedding cake three to six months in advance; in any case, you should secure your date on our calendar as soon as you have your venue booked. But we will always do our best to fit you in! If you plan to order a custom designed cake, and wish to reserve your wedding date before you can come in for your consultation, a non-refundable deposit of $500 will do so; all the details can be worked out later.
We Love The Look Of Your Cakes, But We're Too Far Away To Come For A Tasting--What Now?
No problem--we love helping out-of-state couples! We can arrange everything by email, and if you're able to come in for a tasting once you arrive in the Bay Area, all the better. Or you can delegate a local friend or family member to come and taste our cake (it's a terrible job, but someone has to do it)You can rely on us to provide you with a cake that tastes even more delicious than you had hoped!
Are You Licensed?
Yes, we are licensed by the State of California, and our kitchen is regularly inspected by the Health and Safety Board.
Will You Freeze My Cake Ahead Of Time?
No--we will bake your cake fresh, from scratch, by hand, with love, a day or two before your wedding. Sometimes this means finishing cakes late into the night—but that’s all part of our commitment to you!
What About Delivery?
We will personally deliver and set up your custom wedding cake at your venue, as close to the time of the wedding. Delivery charges are based on your distance and time involved. Unfortunately we do not ship our wedding cakes to other parts of the country.
Do You Make Wedding Cupcakes?
Yes, we do--our cupcakes are always a huge hit! We can customize the presentation to match your colors including toppers, fresh flowers etc and will consult with you regarding additional charges. They will be set up for you in a beautiful tiered arrangement. Wedding cupcakes are often accompanied by a small cutting cake which are customizable.
Do You Have Gluten Free Options?
Yes we offer all of our flavors deliciously gluten free. We use a customized gf flour blend that does not sacrifice taste. An additional charge will apply.
What Kind Of Frosting Do You Use?
Our cakes are all made with a Swiss meringue buttercream or cream cheese frosting. We are a shortening free bakery!
What Types Of Payment Do You Accept?
We accept all major credit cards or checks.
